Introducing: Chateau Roux

Ladies & Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce to you the great Chateau Roux … unless you already know who they are. In which case, you can take this opportunity to get to know them a bit better.

Chateau Roux is a Soho based clothing and accessories brand, catering to both men and women, with a focus on bespoke detail. Now, by detail I don’t mean that you will need a magnifying glass or fashion degree to notice it, you’ll feel it. These guys have really put the work in to make sure they’re clothes are tricked out when it comes to comfort. Their tees are made of 50% Cotton & 50% Modal, giving them a softness that needs to be felt to be believed. Also, they have catered for those of us who don’t wear our trousers where our parents told us to, and instead hang them slightly off the backside; they have added a bit of length to their tees, but not so much that it looks more like a dress.

The detail doesn’t stop with the cut though. All Chateau Reux tees are hand printed, making each one ever so slightly individual – a nice touch. They’ve also been known to use a water based ink to encourage the print to age into the material, but not disappear, giving it that ‘I’ve had this for years’ feel.

I’m not just rattling off some blurb either; I’m currently sat in one of their hoodies, which is one of the most comfortable things I own. But if my word simply isn’t good enough for you, then all you have to do is admire the long list of celebs who have decided to don the Chateau Roux garms, if that’s more your style of justification. Try M.I.A, Speech LeBelle, The Streets, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, Above & Beyond, Damon Albarn, The Sugababes, Example, New Young Pony Club, ra ra ra ra ra … The list goes on.
