Now this is worth a listen, i came across this artist mainly because of how he is listed genre wise mixing Folk, Hip-hop, Reggae and Soul. All this intrigued me so i thought why not have a listen, and i have to say that i was extremely impressed. If i am honest i would guess that a lot of people will be comparing this guy to Just Jack or someone in that same field, but there is something a bit more raw with this guy, more honest and as a song writer compared to others Maverick Sabre kills it. Born in London raised in Ireland, a mix of two very colourful backgrounds so lyrical content should continue to stay on pont.

The video for the single ‘Sometimes’ (below), scheduled to be released Monday 8th of February as is a perfect example of Mavericks talents. I am told that this artist is a’new’ artist but looking at the work he has already put it, in my opinion he is nothing like the average new artist. Already supported acts such as Plan B and Speech Debelle as well as sharing the stage with artists such as Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Natty and Bashy.

I am guessing that 2010 will see more gigs and showcase’s for this artist as well a lot more air play on the big radio stations. Good luck to him, enjoy the video as i did.
