New Stussy

A lot of brand new Stussy has dropped on these shores in the last few days, and it looks like Stussy has gone on a bit of a mad one! Not saying i dislike this, not at all, in fact i am really liking this drop. In the past i have never been that hyped by what Stussy do, but by the looks of this collection that is available from Wellgosh, my opinions of the brand have slightly changed.

Here we see a mad mix of tee’s and crews, the selection that Wellgosh has recently received is huge so i have only selected some of the pieces that i felt need some attention. As you can see they have gone for bright and bold with some dope graphics! My personal favourite being the ‘Tougher’ T shirt that i have saved ’till last.

Striking imagery and catchy slogans is always a winner when it comes to graphic tee’s. Stussy always come through with top quality items to, i can understand fully why they are one of the biggest US brands out. I can only give props to Wellgosh for keeping us looking fly in it!

It’s a shame the Stussy store closed. Tho The Hideout is a great stockist, it just isn’t the same for a brand as legendary as Stussy to not have it’s own base. Can they still run tees and sweats with LONDON on them? Hmmmm. Oh and I pick up my Limited Edition Crewsader watch in a week. Good times.

After years of think stussy as a brand was over I like the look of the stuff they have been doing recently. But I do wonder about supplying people like Size and some of the bigger on line retailers, nothing wrong with Size. I just don’t think its the right road to be going down for them as a brand.

I think they would be better off charging a premium price and having gear harder to get hold of, more Supreme, than Bench way of doing things.

I also wonder why Hideout stocks Stussy I don’t think it a good fit with there branding, everything else they have is more exclusive. Having said all that I was super stocked to get The stussy, One trick pony colab T at hideout
