2010 marks the 30th anniversary of Japanese brand Studio D’artisan, and to celebrate they have created a special limited edition jumper and pair of jeans.
This special pair of jeans is made from 17oz Japanese denim and dyed up to 30 times per pair using traditional technique. A nice touch is that the Indigo ink used in the dyeing process is sourced from the Okayama district, where the brand was founded 30 years ago! The jeans also feature semi-lined rear pockets and fully lined front pockets, using Jacquard loom woven material (a loom invented in 1801, so pretty old school). Limited to only 200 pairs worldwide.
The jumper is made from premium organic cotton, again using a vintage loopwheel process, making it extra soft as well as being hardwearing. Each jumper is limited to 180 worldwide and comes in a vintage style box. A real nice detail is that the jumper is accompanied by an iron on patch, so you can decide whether or not it is branded, and where to brand it! A huge look in my opinion.
