On Wednesday, a few of London’s independent brands got together to put on a one off showcase event in the basement of Soho House. The Ugly Kids Club, Smut Clothing, Lou Lou Bontemps and more, set up to display and sell their work. We were invited down to check it all out and pick up a few items for ourselves.
The Ugly Kids Club had a bunch of new prints on sale, including the new ‘Ladder of Success’ print and some majorly limited photographic tees. Artwork by the UKC’s own Mister Batlow was on display throughout the basement, and we also got a peak at an ill new MisterCee design coming this summer, so keep an eye out for that in the photos.
Smut Clothing were there with their new tee, featuring super fit model Vikki Blows, and a bunch of other crazy items including digital printed pillows and custom lamps. More info on these special items coming soon, but for now you can check out more at the Smut website. Lou Lou Bontemps was also displaying her stock, including a line of custom cut and painted leather accessories, hand sprayed by Mister Batlow. Check the photos below to see the line – look out for the Union Jack painted laptop sleeves, my personal favourite.
It’s always great to see UK independents getting together to put on events like this and help each other out – this event was no exception. Check out the brands above and have a look below to see how it went down.
