Recap: Kidrobot x Motion City Soundtrack

On Thursday night (March 25th) the Kidrobot London store was invaded by the band Motion City Soundtrack as well as an army of dedicated fans. MCS took some time out from their UK tour to give their fans an exclusive listen to their new album ‘ My Dinosaur Life’, the band themselves where on hand to mingle with their fans and sign pretty much anything that needed to be signed.

Kidrobot collaborator Joe Ledbetter lent his hand to the art work of said new album (see below), this being the reason for MCS setting up camp in the Kidrobot store. On the night fans could pick up the album as well as the deluxe edition version of the album that is packaged in the form of a six disc art book, very nice. Also on the night a very large bag full to the brim of Kidrobot goodies was up for grabs for one lucky MCS fan, as you can see from the picture the winner looked very pleased for her self, and so she should be! I am not going to lie, i’m jealous.

‘My Dinosaur Life’ carried on to play in the back ground whilst fans conversed with the band, the night had a really good vibe. It’s nice to see a U.S  band take some time out for their UK fans, it was a really good thing to see. Thanks to Kidrobot and Motion City Soundtrack for putting on a really good evening for their fans, i am sure every one present had a wicked time.
