Batlow Nightmare Mural

Last night I made my way up to Old Street to check out a fresh new mural by London artist Mister Batlow. The piece is present on the walls surrounding 333 Mother Bar and features one of my favourite characters from cinematic history, Freddy Krueger.

The piece includes lines from the nursery rhyme that those who have seen any of the Nightmare on Elm Street films will be more than familiar with. The side of the building also features a giant painting of Kruegers glove, complete with blood splatters. If you’re a fan of the movie franchise, or horror films in general, I reccomend passing by to check it out in its full glory. You can find more of Batlow’s work at his site Batlow’s Apples.
