Garbstore Sakura Exhibition & Tea Party

To welcome in the Japanese Sakura (blossom) season Garbstore are hosting a week long exhibition, week long 50% sale and a tea party!

Titles ‘Haru No Torai’ (The Arrival of Spring), the exhibition showcases the work of 4 contemporary Japanese photographers and lasts all week in the West London store, ending this Friday. To accompany the exhibition, Garbstore will be launching new collections and products from their favourite Japanese brands Mountain Research, Gauntlets, Katsu & Takeshi, Fil Melange and Palm Graphics Japan. Along with all this, a new limited edition book by vintage historian Rin Takanaka will be available in store.

As if all this wasn’t enough, Garbstore are offering up to 50% off old season Japanese collections all week and 10% off current season collections on Friday 23rd between 4pm and 8pm.

To celebrate the climax of the exhibition there will be a tea party (very British, yet very Japanese) at Garbstore on Friday 23rd from 4pm to 8pm. Expect Japanese sweets, food and drink to get you in the mood of Sakura season. Sounds like a perfect afternoon to me … tea, sweets and garms? Delicious!
