Recap: Carnaby 20% Shopping Party

Last week we ventured down to the Carnaby 20% Shopping Party to see what was going on and grab our 20% discounts.

Carnaby was buzzing that evening with people absolutely everywhere and live music coming from almost every store. This year there seemed to be more DJs than ever before, with a handful of shops giving selektahs pole position in the store, wether it was in the window, the middle of the shop or beside the counter. There was Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, Dubstep and live Indie coming from left and right as you strolled through the street. A wicked vibe!

Below are some snaps from some of the more bustling stores. All about 55DSL putting free foosball on the street! Check out DJ Ideal Self spinning tunes in Upper Playground along with myself and 2 rad artists painting live outside. I was loving Puma’s DJ booth mid-store with kicks hanging by the laces above the DJ’s head.

All-in-all a great evening with plenty of friendly faces floating about and a lot of free booze. If you didn’t make it down, I strongly suggest that you attend the next one because it’s always a good time!
