Nike Air Max 90 Infrared (2010)

It’s making a come back! The one and only Air Max 90 Infrared is returning …

This is debatably one of the most precious colourways to any sneaker collector. Very few sneakers manage to drum up the same amount of craze in a collector as a Jordan, but the Air Max 90 Infrared does it with minimum effort. Released back in 1990 as one of the original colours of the shoe, the Infrared colourway was perfect in every sense, allowing the distinct elements of the AM90 to pop.

This is not the first time that this classic kick has been re-released. There were versions in ’03 and ’06, and a near perfect quickstrike version in ’08, but this beauty is completely perfect. Having seen it in the flesh, it’s clear that Nike have used the same colourways, silhouette and materials as the OG itself. No surprise when you take into account the AM90’s 20th birthday this year.

The shoe is set to drop around June 20th (give or take a day), but pre-orders have cropped up in certain places. I know a lot of heads don’t agree with pre-ordering sneakers, but I think if you want a pair you’re just gonna have to bite your tongue and get involved … otherwise you’re gonna struggle!

Pre-order a pair from Urban Industry and End Clothing or wait for the drop to get a pair from Crooked Tongues and other stockists.

This is a very decent re-re-re-release indeed. Perfect timing too. Good luck to everyone fiending for them!
