Carrot Clothing Summer 2010 ‘F-War’

Making its Daily Street debut is Carrot Clothing, a brand from Serbia formed in the late 90’s in the midst of a period of political unrest, now a few years on Carrot bring us their summer 2010 collection which still holds true its political ideology.

Getting to this stage however was not an easy ride, brand founder Alex Gligorich, found himself in jail for the production of his anti war t shirts seen as a form of spreading ‘terrorist policies’ by Serbian authorities. Since these early days the brand has grown and has teamed up with artists, skateboarders and other creatives in order to help spread the anti war messages of Carrot all over the world.

The ‘F-War’ collection includes works and designs from graffiti artists and illustrators such as UK’s China Mike and the world famous Zevs. The collection has some stand out pieces, these being the cut and sew pieces such as the button up shirt and also the selection of hoods. The Carrot varsity jacket is also looking good, personally i am really liking the striking graphic on the back along with the slogan that finishes off this piece really well.

The ‘F-War’ collection and the rest of Carrot Clothing is available online right now from the Carrot Clothing web-store.
