Recap: Lazy Oaf Drawing Club

Lazy Oaf recently opened a temporary pop-up store and exhibition space on Shorts Gardens in the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden. To celebrate the launch of their new Drawing Club T-shirt collection, the brand held a special drawing club event, and invited friends and fans down to get creative.

The Drawing Club featured live art from some of the brand’s favourite, talented young artists, including Nicholas Saunders, Tom Edwards, Rosy Nicholas and Ian Stevenson, straight from the pen on to the walls of the store. In addition, customers and fans who had turned up for the event were given pens and invited to draw their own wall-art or create custom helium balloons to become more ceiling art. The event also showcased the Drawing Club T-shirt series which includes some create pieces, including an allover print tee by US designer Mike Perry.

The event was great fun and it was excellent to be part of something a little more creative than your average product launch party. The Lazy Oaf Drawing Club T-shirt collection is available online and in-store from Lazy Oaf now, and the pop-up store remains open until Saturday June 5th, so stop by if you’re in the area.
