Vans OTW AW10 Collection

For Autumn/Winter 2010 Vans have created a new line of premium sneaks called the OTW collection.

Standing for Off The Wall, the OTW collection is here to grasp inspiration from Vans’ rich background in skateboarding and spruce it up to make it more stylised. I can’t help but think that it is a market that was partly created by the success of Supra’s luxury skate kicks … but there’s no reason why Vans shouldn’t venture into this market as well, and about time too!

Using premium leather and suede as the foundation of the shoes, they are undeniably sleek in design. All of the shoes bar one are near monotone in their colourway, which helps to make them look so slick. Check out the heel-tab that usually holds the Vans logo; on these you will find either a waffle or OTW inspired piece of rubber that is pretty chic. For those peeps who love skate shoes too much but want to have something a little smarter in the wardrobe (and I know there are plenty of you out there!), these are a great choice.

If you’re not feeling the particular colour-way then don’t worry, each shoe comes in a small selection of colour choices. Keep your eyes peeled!

Grab a pair of OTW’s from all good Vans retailers such as Flatspot & Crooked Tongues as they hit stores throughout the month.

(The above pair is called the Tustin)
