Recap: Boardmasters: Day 3

Boardmasters day 3 was all about Madina Lake, headliners of the Vans tent at the Watergate site. The skate, surf and BMX action continued, but was delayed in the early part of the afternoon by wind and rain, making for somewhat treacherous conditions.

In the afternoon, Madina Lake singer Nathan Leone and drummer Dan Torelli took to the Vans tent for a signing session, signing CDs, posters and even making their mark on some Vans shoes. Fans queued through the rain to shake the hands of their favourite band and left buzzing from the experience. Later that day the sun broke through the clouds and we made our way to Watergate to catch Fail Safe, Young Guns and Madina Lake themselves. We also found time to squeeze in a quick interview with the guys from JettBlack, so look out for that, along with the rest of our video coverage very shortly!
