Boy Soldiers Group Show

This week sees the opening of an interesting new exhibition which brings something exciting to the table with a roster of 30 street artists each customising their own version of Schoony’s ‘Boy Soldier’.

Boy Soldiers features customisations from the likes of Goldie, Insa, D*Face and Inkie, along with a huge list of others (see the flyer above for the rest). The exhibiton seeks to inspire emotion at a time of political unrest and war across the globe, and the imagery of the boy soldier is enough alone to see why. I’m really looking forward to checking out the work of some of the world’s greatest graffiti artists along with a host of names that are knew to me, this should be a good one.

Boy Soldiers opens at Blackall Studios on the 2nd of September, and at the Graffik Gallery from Thursday the 9th of September so whether you’re East or West, you’ll have plenty chance to catch the show.
