Reebok ‘Dee Brown’ Pump Omni Lite – Black/White/Orange

In 1991, Boston Celtics guard Dee Brown took part in the NBA Dunk Contest. In front of a global audience, he pumped up his Pump Omni Lite’s and pulled off the now legendary ‘no look dunk’ (video below). Actions speak louder than words and this one moment did more for the sales of the Omni Lite, than any advertisement could of ever done.

Here we have a limited release of the Pump Omni Lite that Dee Brown used for the ‘No look dunk’. This release celebrates a great basketball player (from a great team may I add) and gives you the chance to not only own a serious sneaker, but also a piece of basketball and sneaker history.

The materials and detail of this make-up are simple but so dope. Staying true to the OG, both smooth and pebbled premium leather are used and combine effortlessly on the upper. Splashes of white and flame orange are used on the brand detailing, support arcs and on the ‘pump’ technology, giving the shoe that much needed colour boost from the all black base.

Available from Hanon now. Limited quantities have been produced so these won’t be around for long, don’t sleep!
