Soap-box ‘Audio Pixel’ My Forte T-shirt

For their latest drop, Soap-box get together with musician Myke Forte for a collaborative effort as part of Myke’s new Audio Pixel project.

The project intends to mix musical and visual experiences, the collaboration with Soap-box being the first part in what will be a larger series. The tee reads ‘My Forte’ (in reference to Myke’s forte being music), but only in the daylight, as in darkness the final two letters illuminate to read ‘Myke Forte’, a clever little touch and a nice design idea. The T-shirt comes packaged in a custom box, based on a Roland SP-404, with a 4 track EP featuring music primarily composed on the device (not the box, an actual 404) and custom art cards. The tee comes in white with either red or black print, and strictly limited to 50 pieces (I assume 25 of each colourway).

I admire Soap-box’s attention to detail here, with the glow-the-dark print and custom box, small details which in my eyes, make a huge difference. The addition of the EP and box design really tie the project together and get across Myke’s message nicely.
