WET WOMEN Exhibition

Thursday night is right round the corner which means only one thing, time to rifle through the listings and and pick out which gallery openings are worthy of recognition. Tomorrow see’s the launch of a photography exhibition by Amanda Langford with a bit of an interesting story behind them.

The images, as the title suggests, depict ‘wet women’, captured in the late 80’s and first exhibited in the Poisson Rouge restaurant in St. Martin French, West Indies. Fast forward 22 years and the original slides were discovered in the attic of Amanda’s Miami home, to be transported to London with her son and eventually, finding their way on to the internet. On Thursday, Reinform presents a chance to see the original images in all their glory at the Number Six store on Dray Walk, East London.
