albam AW10 drop 1

British brand albam have dropped a few bits and bobs to help us deal with the increasingly cold and wet weather.

The first of their Autumn/Winter drops this year, they have created a new Carpenter Shirt, Shetland Knit, the Autumn 2010 Taper Chinos and our favourite of the drop, the Trail Parka. The Carpenter Shirt, coming in a rinsed chambray with it’s multi chest pocket, is one of the more perfect looking shirts I’ve seen from Albam … with a strong amount of character to it. The Autumn 2010 Taper Chino is also a genius idea! Just when I’m starting to think “I’m not ready to let go of my chinos yet, but they are getting a bit too cold!” albam have created the answer to this conundrum. Using a heavyweight Italian drill with a vintage wash, you will be kept warmer than a Summer chino and won’t have to worry as much about being careful with them. Perfect.

The highlight of this drop has to be the Trail Parka. A heavyweight wax coated canvas parka coming in 4 colours with a Blue Japanese woven chambray hood lining, this is the most technical jacket that Albam have made to date. The jacket is based on old 80’s mountain jackets, but still keeps that trademark albam style. Personal favourite has to be the Black one, where the jacket seems to take on a new form.

All products are now available in-store and online from albam.
