Alife Footwear (AW10)

Alife drop their AW10 footwear collection this month, smart and casual influenced designs are the focus here. Quality always reigns over quantity and that’s evident in this drop. With a handful of shoes being released it’s nice to see variety within a small group, with each design bringing different flavours.

The whole collection is very subtle. The Chuck Low and High boot come un-branded except for the outsole and insole seeing classic Alife logo details. Premium Suede uppers in the choice of a Olive or Grey are outstanding colour options. The high version has a elasticated internal sock system which keeps the foot secure and gives a custom like fit.

The ‘Everybody’ makes an appearance with mid and low versions available. The low looks quite familiar… Premium suede uppers, Alife branding on the tongue and heel contrasts with the strong black upper. Simple and effective. The mid’s definitely where it’s at though. Alife’s favoured parachute fabric upper comes in a deep navy this time, with a slice of gum on the outsole and Alife branding on the heel and tongue.

Finally a new shoe gets introduced on this drop. The ‘Public Low’ comes in quality canvas uppers with sqaure leather laces and cork style insoles. The colour’s and detail are subtle once again, coming in the choice of grey or black, this could appeal to fans of a certain well known silhouette.
