Introducing the Nike LunarWood+ … the Nike ACG Wildwood in Lunar form.
The idea of taking a hard outdoor piece of footwear and slapping it onto one of the most tech running soles is either going to make you cringe or smile from ear to ear. When you see it, it works so perfectly it looks like it has always been this way. I would even say that this is an improvement on the Wildwood, brave words I know but I am a massive Lunar fan.
Using the Lunarlon cushioning technology at the midsole with a trail-specific rubber tread pattern, the Wildwood works so well as a runner for the more extreme occasions, using waterproof materials to ensure that it is All Conditions Gear. This Black/Volt colourway brings the usual ‘pop’ of a Lunar runner, whilst working smoothly with the subtle colours that the Wildwood usually holds. The colourway takes design hints from the Neon Air Max 95 that we are all so familiar with … and it works.
This hybrid is a huge success in my opinion and one of the better Lunar experiments, as they will probably be known (you heard it here first). I can see this one breaking necks in the future!
