On Thursday night G-Shock announced their collaborative DW-6900FS with Passarella Death Squad to the world.
The evening was filled with the usual free beer and champagne that G-Shock roll out for almost every occasion at their G-Shock East store off Brick Lane. The vibes were flowing nicely with quote a few peeps chilling outside the store after checking out the watch and tees, listening to the music and soaking up the atmosphere. G-Shock East always has a good vibe, with a decent DJ set-up at the back of the store and some good music you can’t go wrong.
There were plenty of people perving over the collab … I’ve said it before in my earlier post and I’ll say it again now, it’s one of the best they have done recently. It seems like Passarella Death Squad have taken over a corner of the store, decking it out as a display for the watch, a few tees and their newly released album which you can listen to from an iPod (very swarve!). A massive art piece hangs above the tees featuring a stunning naked woman underneath a Union Jack in true Passarella Death Squad style.
Drop by the store when you are next in the area and have a close look because it’s a gem. You can also have a little listen to the album before it gets released on the 20th and see what you think.
