On Wednesday night, Supemebeing launch their new collaborative collection, which sees the brand team up with two British music icons to design a clothing range around their own personal tastes and lifestyle. Goldie’s collection comes with the support of his Metalheadz label whilst Arctic Monkeys drummer Helders’ collection is personal to Matt.
As each collection relates directly to the styles and musical influences of it’s creator, both are significantly different. Helders’ collection is comprised of 8 pieces featuring a light and bright colour palette and the use of a blue/yellow/green/white check pattern across shirts, hoodies and tees. The Metalheadz collection is considerably darker, using predominantly black and deep purple across 7 pieces, including polo shirts and jackets. The purple/black windbreaker (modeled by Goldie, above) was my favourite piece when we previewed the collection a few months back – very clean and a good colour choice.
The collection launches at Urban Outfitters, Oxford Street on Wednesday from 6-8pm, the event is open to the public. The store launch is followed by a party a Cable, for more info, visit Supremebeing.
