Vans Off The Wall Music Night

Vans are once again doing what they do best and putting together a huge show for fans of punk, metal and hardcore, with this year’s instalment of the Vans Off The Wall Music Night. On October 23rd, Vans invade Manchester’s Academy 2, 3 & Club, with 15 bands playing across the three venues.

The line-up includes punk legends Against Me alongside hardcore icons Fucked Up, Dead Swans and the Inbetweeners gracing Failsafe. Personally, I’d be most excited about Fenix TX though (don’t we all know the words to ‘Threesome’?). Those with a keen eye (and a good memory) might remember the Guitar Hero installation at the new Vans Earlham Street store. Well, if you stop by the shop and have a go, you can be entered into a competition to win a trip on the Vans private jet for you and 2 mates, transporting you to the show. There’s some mention of a ‘special guest’ too, but seeing as it doesn’t mention who that might be, I wouldn’t get too concerned.

To enter, just get a picture of you playing Guitar Hero at the store (or other Vans stores) and upload it to the Vans Europe facebook page. Oh, did I mention that playing the game in-store also gets you 10% off any purchase? You’d be stupid not to if you’re planning on copping some new waffles. More info on the show on the flyer above, and at Vans.
