HUF AW10

More deliveries of AW10 HUF goodness have popped up this week. A batch of product that has all the right ingredients you need to get your wardrobe ready for winter.

Crew necks, t-shirts, plaid shirts and coats all fit the criteria of winter essentials and HUF have taken it down a more subtle route. These pieces will benefit from sitting nicely in a well prepared outfit, as there’s nothing ground breaking for single pieces to stand out on there own, it’s all about classic winter gear and there is plenty of that to choose from. Though the lumberjack look was rinsed last winter, it’s back this year once again (personally I’m not complaining), some brands are still dropping some dope plaid shirts but it’s all become quite wishy washy. I hate to say it but it’s a real shame HUF couldn’t really get the shirts in this drop to a stand-out-of-the-crowd level, there is some uncanny resemblance to a certain UK high street brand’s plaid shirts which just puts me off a little.

A solid drop from HUF.

Available from Urban Industry now.

HUF DIED LAST SEASON FOR ME PERSONALLY, AND THIS HAS CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE A BRAND THAT IS GOING NOWHERE UNLESS SOMETHING CHANGES RAPIDLY. I THINK THEY ARE A VICTIM OF PEOPLE THINKING STREETWEAR IS DEAD SO ALONG WITH THAT THEY TONED DOWN ON GRAPHICS AND IN GENERAL LOST THEY’RE CREATIVITY AND ARE SEARCHING HOPELESSLY FOR SOME ORIGINALITY. MAN I HOPE THEY DO RECOVER.
