Recap: Lunartik Custom Tea Tour

This past Friday night, artist Matt JOnes and friends invaded the Kidrobot London store for an exhibition, doodle session and a bit of a party as the final send off for the Lunartik Custom Tea Tour. Artists including Doktor A, Jon Burgerman, Tado, Sneaky Racoon, Triclops and Matt JOnes himself all contributed custom versions of the Lunartik in a Cup of Tea character and many of the artists were in attendance on the night for the celebrations.

As always, the artists weren’t  stood around with nothing to do, as lines of fans queued up to have their flyers signed and munnys customised. Some in attendance were lucky enough to scoop some of the free customs, stickers and other bits left hidden around the store. The custom Teas are now being auctioned off on eBay, will all proceeds going to the NSPCC. Prices range (at the time of this post) from £3.70 all the way to £276 for Doktor A’s amazing creation. Check out some photos of the event below and head over to eBay to place your bids, for a very good cause. Thanks to Kidrobot and Lunartik for having us down.
