Nike Air Maxim 1+ Trainer ND (Black/Black)

2009 saw an array of hybrid runners based on the classic Air Max 1 (87). One of those hybrids was the Air Maxim 1 Trainer, which combined the classic runner with the Air Trainer model in a OG colour-up. Photo’s never seemed to do it justice, but I remember seeing them in the flesh and my neck was gone…

This release see’s that model drop again but in an all black colour-up. It’s stealthy to say the least. The combination of suede (it’s nice to see proper suede back on a AM1) and flywire technology makes for a lightweight shoe with an aesthetic twist. Nike’s + technology also makes an appearance, making for a great example of how classic runners can blend with modern aesthetics and technology.

These are available from SoleHeaven now.
