Yesterday we previewed the Trainerspotter Puma Sky II that is part of the collaboration pack between Size?, Puma and Trainerspotter, celebrating 10 years of Size?.
As well as more images of the Trainerspotter effort, this time we focus on the Size? creation of the Puma Sky II. Most of the recent collaboration’s that Size? have done utilized warm tones, which seem to be playing on English heritage and the evidently recent ‘work-wear’ influence that the sneaker world has taken on board. This release carries on those characteristics.
A healthy shade of beige gets heavy use by covering most of the upper, the combination of canvas, leather and corduroy materials maintain a sense of variation while keeping a low key mannerism. This shoe has character.
The choice of a very rich red on the tongue definitely compliments that cream and gum outsole. It looks like a lush suede (or maybe nubuck) has been used which suits the quality of the materials on the upper. You’ve even got the choice of some red waxed laces to compliment that tongue.
Respect to Size?, Trainerspotter and Puma for coming with some decent materials and colour choices on these make-ups. Another great addition to the Size? 10th Anniversary collection.
For those interested in this pack, they will be available in-store from Size? on 16th October. Limited quantities have been produced, so don’t sleep and all that jazz.
