Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized Boot (Black/Black & Grey/Black/Purple)

We all know how the Spiz’ikes go down with the Jordan connoisseurs. A lead ballon springs to mind. Having said that, the Spiz’ike is one of the better hybrids along with the 60+. The combination of some of the best ever hoop shoes from the Jordan Brand line packed into one silhouette is an interesting concept, the Spiz’ike hybrid packs serious basketball history.

The Spiz’ike Winterized Boot takes things to the next level, these boots are designed with the harsher weather conditions in mind, it’s a lifestyle piece that does well for the winter. Tough materials, earthy tones and an extra thick outsole are on the agenda with the Spiz’ike Winterized, allowing for a decent winter alternative to those crisp III’s, IV’s, V’s and XI’s that are treated like gold dust. Basically, these make-ups are expecting rain to hit them.

This release see’s black/black and grey/black/purple colour-ups that do the silhouette justice. The cement print adds a nice touch to the winter feel, combining subtly with the colour palette’s and the choice of tough leather and synthetic materials works well.

These have grown on me. If you take into account what these are designed and should be used for and ignore the resentment you have because of Jordan Brand cutting and pasting your holy grails, then these are a great substitution for the lighter and crisper AJ’s from your collection.
