Wales based brand Droneboy Laundry drop a new T-shirt, picking up on some of the region’s heritage with just a hint of early 80’s hardcore punk, and a hefty serving of the brand’s black/white graphic identity to boot.
The brand sum up the imagery rather poetically – “We happen to be from Wales, the land that carves from mountain to valley to sea. Geographically, we aren’t meant to make it big, but we still remain a persistent, minor threat – the diamonds in the rough”. The white T-shirt features a pair of crossed pickaxes with a Droneboy candle burning beneath and “We’re Just a Miner Threat” text – a quote from the self-titled song by Washington D.C. hardcore band Minor Threat, with an intended typo referencing Wales’ mining past.
The tee is finished with two hands holding a diamond on the reverse. A really nice piece from the brand, nice to see some more Welsh input on the UK streetwear map. The Miner Threat tee is available from the Droneboy Online Store now, priced at £20.
