Levi’s 519 Skinny Jean

Levi’s have created a skinny 519 Slim for those that prefer their jeans a bit more fitted.

If you live in London you will have undoubtedly seen these jeans already, worn by The Gaslight Anthem and postered all over certain tube stations. A slightly tapered jean that is slim in the leg and made from premium denim with a bit of stretch added for comfort, the 519 Slim is a very well fitted jean and a nice lightweight denim. Coming in 3 washes, there’s something for every style including a light wash, ‘Kill City Black’ and the technical ‘Black Drift’ that feels like it’s been oiled or painted and then washed off.

The cut of these jeans is spot on, and if you don’t like your jeans too skinny then I suggest sizing up as these come pretty tight on the waist anyway. Sized up they sit like a very well fitted slightly loose jean, where as if you were them at the correct size they are very fitted.

You can’t go wrong with a pair of Levi’s, but I don’t need to tell you that. The 519 Slim is available now in Levi’s stores and online for £80. However, I strongly suggest you try these on before buying, as you may need to size up. As a good piece of advice, you should always try jeans on before buying anyway.
