New Balance continue their ‘Sonic’ range from the summer, rolling over into this A/W10 pack that see’s the environmentally friendly ‘Sonic’ process used on the 574 once again.
The ‘Sonic’ process involves creating footwear with the environment in mind and is used for creating a more comfortable and lightweight piece of footwear — a good combination I’m sure you will agree. As always with New Balance, the materials are high quality even with this high tech modern process. A synthetic suede and mesh upper has all those favoured ingredients that makes for a great runner, but produced and blended with a welding process that eliminates stitching.
The two tone colour-ups are very on point, you’ve got the choice of a navy/yellow or a olive/peach — both have a blocked out upper with a contrasting hit on the heel support.
The 574 Sonic is proof that heritage can combine beautifully with modern techniques. Who’d of thought it? Not only have you got a comfortable, lightweight and aesthetically pleasing piece of footwear, but also something that’s environmentally friendly.
