The Nike ‘Athletics East’ rollout continues, with more footwear popping up from the west goes east inspired running range.
This fusion combines the ever prominent Nike Dunk with the ‘Lava Dome’, which was one of the first hiking influenced models that Nike put out, back in 1981. An interesting combination of basketball performance and hiking durability, the Lava Dunk uses materials such as ripstop nylon, premium full grain leather and uses the solid Lava Dome outsole to create a water resistance combination that will hold up in some rugged weather conditions. Wax laces, hiking eyelets, reflective splashes and the ACG logo are some extra details that make sure you know that these mean business.
Colour-ups usually speak for themselves and these are a classic case. Black and Beige make for some toned down and subtle action, but suitable when you consider what these should be used for. The AFE camo insole is also a nice finishing touch.
These don’t come close to the AFE Camo Moc’s, but it’s an interesting hybrid from Nike which fits comfortably in the AFE range.
These will available in-store from Foot Patrol on Friday 5th November, with a price tag of £79.99.
