Nike Match Classic Vintage (Black & Metallic Summit)

The Match Classic from Nike came to the limelight not long ago when Japanese style & streetwear icon Hiroshi Fujiwara and also the design collective Fragment Design, both had their chance to get creative and put their stamp on this 80’s tennis classic.

This release will seem familiar to those past releases. Both shoes carry on the clean, classic and minimal design aspects that Mr Fujiwara is renowned for, making these two shoes seriously sublime. The colour-ups aren’t far off too, subtle changes such as the blacked out mini Nike swoosh is what makes these differ. The vintage suede upper, vintage treatment on the outsole and foam tongue (with a vintage logo) make for a more 80’s feel, while still having that modern style intact.

Small details such as the embroidered minimal Nike branding finish these two make-ups perfectly, it’s always a pleasure to see that small Nike swoosh utilised.

These are available from Size? now.
