Nike Sportswear Athletics Far East SFB Chukka

The Nike Athletics Far East (AFE) collection is mad strong, and these SFB Chukkas are the icing on the camouflage cake.

Compiled from AFE camo ballistic mesh and camel coloured suede with matching laces, upper-midsole and a poppin’ fresh White lower-midsole and outsole, these are like a work of art. The soft mesh tongue and side panels teamed with the supple suede upper make for top level comfort, especially when sat on a chunky Free sole. Well hidden vents on the inner side panel reduce the sweat factor of the suede and the mesh elements should help with this also.

These boots are so military hiking, especially with the camo addition, but somehow they retain the classic smart aspect of a Desert Boot and the tech sole design of a pre-Lunar Nike runner. That sounds like a formula that really shouldn’t work, but just look at it … it’s magical.

My favourite detail has to be the lack of branding, apart from the mini Swoosh hidden away on the inner midsole. Nice and modest. If you didn’t know your Nike’s you probably wouldn’t even recognise these as Nike on your first glance, but the sole should give that away to those that know.

I really can’t stress how much I am instantly loving these shoes, but you’ve probably noticed that already. Keep your eyes peeled on all Tier Zero accounts as these are expected to drop very very soon and my guess is that they will disappear equally as quick.
