Tonight, an exhibition of paintings, collages, prints and sculptures by UK street artist Ronzo launches at the StolenSpace Gallery. His second solo show centres around life in Ronzo’s own little Borough of Crackney, a parallel world based on the artist’s experiences living in Hackney.
Ronzo’s world is filled with surreal creations, including the crack smoking squirrel and pizza delivery cockroach, and although his work might seem a little abstract at first, there are plenty comparisons that can be drawn to the real Borough. Ronzo is known for his sculptures littered throughout London, including Crunchy, the coin crunching monument that sits above Great Eastern Street, and this show takes us deeper inside that world.
Ronzo’s exhibition launches tonight from 6pm, and runs until November 28th. This one will be well worth look, so make sure you stop by.
