New Balance M1500 (BBL / RBB)

For SS11, New Balance have a treat install for all the lovers of the 1500 UK made silhouette. Coming two colour-ups that do this classic design justice, there’s a choice of either a blue/tonal grey or a red/grey/black.

It’s great to see a decent shape produced for this double release and it proves why NB’s UK produced footwear is the preferred option within the sneaker community. Both colour-ups are excellent and it’s hard to decide which one has the edge, it’s probably best to just appreciate the fact that we’ve got two solid choices and not get into that.

Premium synthetic and mesh combine on the upper, which if I’m honest, is a little disappointing as it would of been great to see some buttery suede in the equation, it’s a minor thing though. Both shoes have some serious ‘pop’, those hotter months we are all craving at the minute will be the perfect oppurtunity to crack these out and it’s the kind of release that will be a superb addition to the collection, especially if you’re on the hunt for previous 1500’s that are proving to be harder to get hold of now.

Available to pre-order from Hanon now for £85.
