Barbour nylon International Jacket

The Barbour International is an undisputed classic and these nylon renditions bring it bang up-to-date in a rather unexpected fashion.

The International was Barbour’s incredibly popular motorcycle jacket, most notably worn by Steve McQueen in the early 60’s. Taking the silhouette of the jacket, throwing out the concept of waxed cotton and replacing it with nylon, Barbour have put a modern twist on a historical classic. Don’t be thrown by the bright Yellow, bright Barbour jackets are nothing new. In fact, I’ve come to really enjoy the Yellow International, especially as it hosts one of my favourite Barbour linings. The big brass poppers, waist strap and tilted chest pocket are all present and in full effect, just like the original.

Both colours are available now for £149 from Oi Polloi.
