Converse Matchpoint Ox First String

These First String releases from Converse use the ever classic Matchpoint Ox silhouette, but as always with Converse’ First String line numbers are limited and materials are at a premium level.

They feature a nicely contrasting soft leather lining and a vulcanised rubber ecru sole unit. Personally I find the use of ecru a much better colour on the soles of these old school gym type sneakers just because white is sometimes too harsh and these have a subtle ability to pull and outfit together. As you can see, the leather branding on the back of the sneaker is a nice touch and the simplistic characteristics of the Matchpoint Ox lends itself perfectly to your Spring/Summer wardrobe.

They come in two colours, grey and ‘denim’, and numbers are limited so you best hurry if you want to cop a pair. Both are available now from Oi Polloi for £90 a pop.
