Grenson Archie V Brogue

If you’re after subtlety, I’d turn around now. Classic English shoe makers Grenson have been making shoes since the 19th century, so they know a thing or two about classic gents and what classic gents want. Now, I don’t know if I’d classify myself as a ‘classic gent’ so maybe they are accommodating to a wider audience, but these beefed up brogues styled on their ever timeless Stanley brogue are a thing of beauty.

Taking the full broguing of the Stanleys and blowing it up make these something not for the faint hearted, but they would add a nice contemporary twist to an otherwise classic outfit. Think rolled up chinos with a button down oxford. As you’ve probably guessed by now the V stands for Vibram and with it being such a prominent feature of these shoes it fully deserves to be mentioned in the name. Other features include a waxed leather upper and waxed laces.

These are by far my favourite shoes I’ve seen in a long time and you can be sure that I’m hoping to grab a pair as soon as possible.
