King Apparel are one of the most hard working UK street wear brands, its a fact, and we here at The Daily Street have heard and seen first hand just how hard working they are when he headed down to their offices earlier last year (check here). And yet again it seems that hard work has paid off with King getting their hands dirty with another big headwear collaboration.
Way back when, King was the first brand to work with New Era cap on their 59fifty cap paving the way for brands all over the world to make that cap what it is today. This time around King joins the extremely exclusive list of brands allowed to collaborate with Starter’s black label programme. Joining brands such as Mishka, Mighty Healthy, Kid Robot and In4mation King become the first UK brand to produce a full collection on the programme. Big moves i think you will agree! Starter snap backs are one of the best snap back options on the market at the moment, the fit is good, not to deep on the crown and Starter’s embroidery is second to none.
The first drop of the collection due to be released first week of February includes three styles, and very nice styles i might add, taking on a well known logo as well as producing some dope logo’s giving some nice shout outs to the UK and London. The first cap shown is the East London King cap giving us a twist on the LA Kings design, second is the Dappa Krest logo cap, this time in blue with red and and some very regal gold embroidery, the third cap is the LDN Dagger cap in black with red peak, again some impressive embroidery is seen here but the nicest thing here is the colour way – black and red is always a winner when it comes to headwear. All caps seen here are limited to 288 pieces each so make sure you don’t miss out.
Due for release the first week of February from King Apparel.
