Nike ACG Lunar Racer Vengeance Terra

Nike’s Lunar game is so strong right now, especially when teamed up with ACG like these Lunar Racer Vengeance Terra’s.

It’s already been proven that Lunar technology looks dope when combined with an ACG shoe. We’ve seen it before on the Lunar Wood+ and it was fire! However, these Lunar Racer Vengeance Terra’s (mad long name) seem almost more comfortable on their Lunar bed then their predecessors. It could be the mix up of Lunar and speckled foam on the outsole that tones it down, or simply because the silhouette of the Vengeance is such an iconic mid-80’s runner that it seems more at home on a Lunarlon sole than the Lunar Wood+.

Taking the upper from Nike’s classic runner, the Vengeance, and mixing it up with a groundbreaking ACG shoe from 2007 called the Terra before slamming it on a modern Lunarlon foam sole, Nike have created another Lunar-based-beauty. As subtle as this shoe seems, it’s actually a lot of different things in one silhouette – deceptively calm in design. The outdoor influences from the ACG side of it’s family are toned down using muted tonal colours on the upper with a little bit of popping colour on the Lunar sections of the sole (got to be done really). You would probably assume that the quirky lace system comes from the outlandish ACG heritage of this shoe, but it actually comes from the Vengeance … and it works really well on this mashup.

The Nike ACG Lunar Racer Vengeance Terra is available to pre-order now from Crooked Tongues for £80.
