Benjart first quarter 2011 online collection

Benjart enter 2011 with their first new drop this week, uninspiringly dubbed ‘The Online Collection’, giving fans outside of the London area a chance to pick up some Benjart product via the medium of the brand’s online store.

The collection includes a series of tees, crewnecks, zip-hoods and the above satin varsity jacket, all of which have appeared before in various colurways and combinations in some of the brand’s previous collection (‘Love At First Sight’, ‘Incredible Bravehearts’ e.t.c.). I like the look of the above varsity, and although the satin variation of the popular American sports jacket is lesser seen, Benjart have pulled it off well. As for the rest of the releases, I know the ‘B Splash’ and ‘Shattered Dreams’ logos have become the brand’s signifiers, but it would be nice to see something a little more adventurous coming out of the Benjart camp. I struggle to find the differences from one season to the next, as the brand continue to re-produce the same pieces, and I’d like to see them progress on to new designs and garments.

All of the items shown here and more are available online now from Benjart. Tell us what you think in the comments below.

yeah kind of agree with you there, Suffocake…… I was a fan of Benjart when they first dropped….. but yeah i just feel like i need to see a little more diversification now…. something a bit new and fresh for me to take notice again. Dunno, maybe they are under the ‘if it aint broke, dont fix it’ mentality….. which is fine as I’m sure they will always be a few stalwarts of the original designs to keep sales afloat. Me personally though, Im not suggesting they jump on the latest fad, but even your basics need a little boost sometimes. I think this whole game moves so quick now that you can fall off the pace in the blink of an eye. It’s more than just being about a few tees and crewnecks in a couple of colourways each season. I’m not hating, so all the forum goons hovering over their keyboards with an axe to grind….. be easy. 😉

Hold tight Benjart anyway, they have done decent things so keep it up lads, lets see more ideas from you.

2 be honest they have been doing the same design for 5years..we know its hard for these Urban clothing brands to fund themselves, but consecutively bringing out the same product with different colours is a waste of time and money…Good luck to the Benjart brand..hopefully it will grow…U’ll defo need a braveheart with this post..
