Jordan Brand x Dave White Air Jordan 1 ‘WINGS For The Future’ Auction

This collaboration see’s UK artist Dave White team up with Jordan Brand to create something very special. Using the iconic Air Jordan 1 as his canvas to get creative on, Dave White has created yet another unique piece of footwear that’s a result of this special collaboration project.

There has been 23 pairs of these produced, with each one up for auction and all proceeds going to Jordan Brand’s corporate responsibility programme WINGS and its partner school, the Inglewood High School in LA. The proceeds are contributing towards giving the kids at Inglewood the right equipment and technology to learn new skills with.

The design of the shoe itself feels more like a piece of art, which is pretty suitable given the way each shoe will be auctioned off. A real collectors item.

Check the interview with Dave White over at Sole Collector and for more inside information on how this project was developed and how the proceeds will be utilised. You can also check out what Dave had to say when we sat down with him in December here.
