Video: Peter Saville Interview

Following on from our announcement of Umbro’s new ‘Modern England’ capsule collection by art director Peter Saville, here’s a short video interview with the man himself.

At just over 2 minutes long, Peter gives some really interesting insights into his work and thought processes, touching on his work in the music industry during the ’80s and the recent England kit that he designed. The real interesting element to the video is hearing the cultural meanings behind the design of the pattern that the ‘Modern England’ collection is based on and where he drew design inspiration from.
