Carhartt x Lovenskate ‘Tea-rrific’ boxset

UK skateboard company Lovenskate have joined forces with Carhartt’s UK division to put together this incredible collaboration package, utilising Lovenskate’s love for all things tea and skate related, and Carhartt’s design flair to produce this limited set of skeletal goods.

The brands have come together to celebrate the great British institution that is the cup of tea, with a boxset of goods comprising of a skateboard deck, a 2 pint teapot, two 1 pint mugs, two sticker packs, two ‘Tea-rrific’ tea bags, and a collaborative T-shirt. The graphics are brilliant, and run across all of the items in the collection, with the deck, tee and stickers featuring an illustration of a skeleton, clutching on to a pot of tea. The mugs and teapot themselves feature illustrations of the skeleton hands, with a tea bag graphic inside the mugs themselves as a final touch.

This is one of the best collaborations I’ve ever had the pleasure of writing about. It’s great to see brands thinking outside of the box and coming up with a quirky product set like this, the graphics are great, ant the attention to detail is amazing, with everything from the packaging to the tea bag strings including the ‘Tea-rrific’ branding. It’s also good to see Carhartt exploiting their UK network and working alongside a great UK brand on an excellent project like this.

The box sets aren’t cheap (they’ll set you back £120), but with only 30 in production you can be sure you’re grabbing a collector’s item. Those who don’t fancy the stretch can pick up the board and mug individually (for £55 and £14 respectively) from Carhartt stores in the UK. The boxset is available online now from Lovenskate, detailed pictures follow below.

I was in Lovenskate last year while they were frantically getting the mugs ready. I wondered what it was all for. Big up Stu!
