Nanamica Bags SS11

Inspired by military and outdoors clothing, Japanese company Nanamica never fails to offer beautiful yet functional products year after year. This Spring/Summer doesn’t disappoint with three more releases of their Cycle Pack, Tote and Messenger Bags. One of the selling points of these bags is the mixture of traditional design and modern textiles, each of these models is mainly made up of Cordura nylon, the same fabric often used by the military for its equipment.

There is a real emphasis on the classic looking and extremely nautical red/navy colourway in this collection, which is complimented by the brass hardware and vegetable tanned leather. We also see the off white option in the cycle pack, which with those durable shoulder straps wouldn’t look out of place in the snow scenes of ‘The Empire Strikes Back’.

One thing I should mention though is that these bags don’t come cheap. With a price range of £280 – £305, you can get one now from Present.
