Nike 6.0 has been getting stronger and stronger recently and these new Mavrk 2 Lows in suede and canvas are a great example.
This clean silhouette of the Mavrk 2 Low is very reminiscent of the Nike SB Janoski, but a more built up version. The main similarity lies in the branding on the tongue I guess. A slightly more sturdy looking shoe, the design is really smooth, which is complimented really well by the block colour and use of a singular material, be it suede or canvas. Once again we see Nike draw for the Tiffany-esque Blue that is mad popular and looks really good on the shoe. Why they felt the need to perforate the toebox on that one colour I do not know. what I do know is that this Low rendition of the Mavrk 2 is a lot nicer on the eye than the bulk of the Mid version.
All-in-all I’m really impressed by this shoe and it’s a good indicator of where Nike are taking their 6.0 brand over the next few seasons.
All colours are available now from Nike.com for £55 exclusively before hitting the usual 6.0 retailers very soon.
