After the success of the Air Max 1 ACG pack, Nike return with an even stronger offering in these Honeycomb/Blue Spark and Brown Kelp/White. These AM1s also take inspiration from ACG colourways but without the co-branding.
Made from the same synthetic canvas upper, it’s without a doubt one of the nicest materials to grace the AM1 silhouette. Keeping colour schemes simple and bold, these two really pop with their contrast soles and near-tonal uppers. The only thing allowed to hold its own place on the upper is the Swoosh, and personally this has been the case on all my all-time favourite Air Max 1s to date.
These are limited edition, but are not being called Quick Strike or Tear Zero anywhere … maybe Nike are doing away with that system and keeping it simple? All I know is that these will be going fast and taking a well deserved place of pride in people’s collections.
Head over to End Clothing where you can pre-order them now for £89.
