Nike Free Run+ 2

The Nike Free Run+ is without a doubt a modern running classic and this new updated version is a serious step forward for the design. Introducing the Nike Free Run+ 2 …

Anyone big into their running sneaks will agree that the Nike Free Run+ is one of the most comfortable and stylish kicks out there, and this 2nd edition takes things up a notch, keeping the iconic silhouette of the original and bringing it bang up-to-date. It seems like Nike have taken influence from the web-feel of the Air Max 2011 upper, twisting it and applying it to the rear styling of the LunarEclipse+ before slapping it all onto the slender frame of the Free Run+ … a concoction that works oh so well. The lightweight sock design of the Free Run+ and it’s stupidly flexible Free sole are still unrivalled (pick up the box and you would be forgiven for thinking it was empty) and this new edition doesn’t seem to have added any bulk to the original design, promising to be even more flexible than before.

I’m a big fan of Nike’s current love for pushing the Swoosh back to the heel region and the missing Swoosh on the inner of this shoe is a seriously nice touch also. The Free Run+ 2 seems like the Free Run’s mean older brother and I’m sure I speak for all Free Run fans when I say it makes me want them bad!

Expect these to be dropping at NikeTown and very very soon, and if they’re anything like the original it will be at a very attractive price point.
